Scientific Contribution at IEEE CBMS 2026

The project contributed to the 39th IEEE International Symposium on Computer-Based Medical Systems, held from 3 to 5 June 2026 at the St. Raphael Resort in Limassol, Cyprus.

The paper “A Secure Processing Platform Supporting the European Health Data Space Infrastructure” was included in the session “EHDS, Federated Analytics and Synthetic Health Data.”

Authored by Waqar Aziz Sulaiman, Maria Papaioannou, Nicoletta Prentza, Eirini Schiza and Constantinos S. Pattichis, the work focused on a pipeline of modules demonstrating these processes, covering the full lifecycle from data ingestion by data holders to data use by data users, and illustrating how a secure processing environment can be established and operated at national scale within the European Health Data Space.
